Vitamin A is essential for eyesight as it converts the light that hits on eyes and then converts into an electrical signal and ultimately send to the brain. Night blindness is also called as nyctalopia. Its also caused due to Vitamin A.

Rhodopsin is known that it is located in the retina of your eye and is highly sensitive to light.
People having night blindness have difficulty seeing in darkness.

Vitamin A deficiency may increase the risk of developing acne, as it is the cause of the overproduction of the protein keratin in the hair follicles.

  • Nausea
  • Dizziness
  • Headaches
  • Pain and even death
But if we get vitamin A through plant sources then it will be good.
